Based in Baltimore (Maryland), Chopper Trike Rebels are blend of many genres of metal ranging from traditional “old school” metal to modern metal with a touch of a death metal influence. The music has hooks, groove and melody while maintaining the “in-your-face” attitude metal fans demand. The band’s first CD “Waking the Oppressed” was released September 25th, 2012. The CD was mixed by Grammy winner, Pablo Arraya (Grammy for Eta James) and the CD artwork was drawn by Mike Learn (artwork credit for Megadeth’s “The System Has Failed”).

Chopper Trike formed in the Spring of 2009 from a concept developed by Chopper Trike’s vocalist, Maze. In the December of 2009, Chopper Trike guitarist, Andy Canter, joined forces with Maze to further develop the band. In January 2010, Chris Welborn became the bassist and original drummer, James Dillard, was added. The band had now taken form and began playing gigs in March 2010. In April of 2010, Chopper Trike guitarist, Dave Lemme became the fifth member of the band. The band played many gigs with this line-up until current drummer, Mike Spiers, was added in July of 2010.

Chopper Trike has provided support for both national and international acts. These acts include artists such as Paul Di’Anno (Iron Maiden), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Powerman 5000, Into Eternity, Possessed, God Forbid, Diecast, Sworn Enemy, Silent Civilian, Full Blown Chaos, Across the Sun and Throw the Fight.
